I’ve definitely already written it in my other posts covering this trip, but the Paintbrush Divide was one of my motives for hiking the Teton Crest Trail a second time. I just wanted to finish it. And not fully from a ‘sense of accomplishment’ point of view (of course that did feel good!), but just to see what was supposedly the most beautiful sections of my favorite park.
After a pretty spectacular sunrise at Lake Solitude, we trudged up the 2 miles and the 1600 feet and across the Paintbrush Divide. It absolutely lived up to expectations…
