After my winter hibernation spent watching photography tutorials, I was excited when my girlfriend had a business trip to Seattle so I could tag along to explore. I’d be able to shoot a new city while playing with some of those new techniques I had been obsessively learning all winter. However, rumor has it that it rains a lot up there so I was nervous I wouldn’t be able to do too much.

Luck was on my side because for three days, we had nothing but warm weather and sunny skies – an apparent extreme rarity, especially for March.
